Jõekääru

Camp Overview

Welcome!

For over 70 years, we have offered a wonderful summer camp where children come to increase their sense of connection with Estonian cultures and traditions. Through their interactions with fellow Estonian children and adults, they build an understanding of Estonian heritage and develop a sense of identity. At Jõekääru, the campers are provided with opportunities to develop their language ability, to participate in traditional music, craft, dance and sports, and to engage in activities in nature. Jöekääru provides a safe and supportive environment for this important work!

Traditional summer camp runs throughout July and beginning of August. Campers can come for any number of those weeks that they wish.

Tiny Tots can attend for a daily rate of $70 the first two weeks of camp. Tiny Tots program was established to allow for younger campers to enjoy the outdoors with Estonian friends and get exposure to Estonian culture. Drop off and pick up work with our breakfast and dinner hours, however there is flexibility to suit children's and families' needs.

Registration is open and additional information, dates and the forms can be found here.

*Early Bird Registration (lower rates) are available until MAY 15.
